A Call for Papers

The tenth annual conference of the National Business & Economics Society will be held March 11 through March 14, 2009 at the Marriott Resort & Royal Beach Casino in St. Kitts, British West Indies. NBES is a multi-disciplinary academic association which focuses on promoting interdisciplinary research of both a theoretical and practical nature. It includes scholars from the fields of Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management, Information Systems, Operations Research, Economics, Public Health & Administration, Psychology and related areas. Our goal is to broaden the expertise of business school academics and other professionals by promoting access to research and ideas in all disciplines. See our web site at www.nbesonline.com

Submission Requirement: One page abstract of the research paper in Word e-mailed to info@nbesonline.com, or hard copy to NBES, P.O. Box 770136, Lakewood, Ohio 44107 or fax to 216-226-7990 (line is not dedicated, fax after the message). E-mail submissions will receive prompt consideration. Questions should be addressed to any of the above. Please note that co-authors may not be added after a paper is accepted. Also, the submitted paper needs to be completed by February 1^st for refereed proceedings review.

Submission Deadline: September 1st, 2008

Organization Fees: No fee for abstract submission and consideration. Conference fees are $325 plus $90 annual membership fee ($415 total) for all attending authors. The $90 annual membership fee is required for inclusion in the conference proceedings for co-authors not attending the conference.

Hotel Rooms: A block of rooms is being reserved at the fabulous Marriott Resort & Royal Beach Casino. This is a world class hotel and resort that is very popular year-round. Room rates will be $285 plus 9% tax. Information on air fares and rental cars will be forthcoming.
