Call for Papers

15th Annual Conference

The fifteenth annual conference of the National Business & Economics Society will be held March 12 through March 15, 2014 at the Mauna Lani Hotel & Bungalows on Kohala Coast, Hawaii’s Big Island. NBES is a multi-disciplinary academic association which focuses on promoting interdisciplinary research of both a theoretical and practical nature. It includes scholars from the fields of Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management, Information Systems, Operations Research, Economics, Public Health & Administration, Psychology and related areas. Our goal is to broaden the expertise of business school academics and other professionals by promoting access to research and ideas in all disciplines. See our web site at www.nbesonline.com

Submission Requirement: One to two page abstract or the completed paper in Word e-mailed to info@nbesonline.com. All submissions are peer reviewed. Questions should be addressed to email contact. Please note that co-authors may not be added after a paper is accepted.

Submission Deadline: July 1st, 2013

Organization Fees: No fee for abstract submission and consideration. Conference fees are $445 for all attending authors. A $100 annual membership fee is required for inclusion in the conference proceedings for co-authors not attending the conference.

Hotel Rooms: A block of rooms is being reserved at the fabulous Mauna Lani Hotel & Bungalows on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii’s Big Island. www.maunalani.com. This is a world class hotel and resort that is very popular year-round. Room rates will start at $220 plus 13.4%% room tax. Information on air fares and rental cars will be forthcoming.
